Owner & Lead Creative
Hello Lovelies! I’m Anora: Wife, Mom, Girlfriend, Sagittarius, and your new bestie. I’m quirky, fiercely authentic and a courageous, free spirit. I’m wildly passionate about empowering and inspiring others by showing up vulnerably and loving unconditionally. As an LGBTQ business owner, I want all of my clients to feel welcomed, no matter their gender identity, sexual orientation, or relationship orientation.
As your Northern Michigan photographer and lead creative I’m all about designing experiences that have you loving yourself a little bit more. I want my clients to walk away from their session with a pep in their step, ready to take on the world, feeling confident and beautiful. Just the way I see you.
After managing Castle Farms for 15 years, I took a break from hospitality and worked as our local United Way Executive Director. Fortunately, my heart missed the events industry as I found myself setting up a brand-new venue in our hometown, East Jordan, Michigan. The Boathouse on Lake Charlevoix is an absolute gem in our region, right on the lake with an elegant, modern, industrial indoor space for events. The geeky part of me thrives on creating processes and streamlining systems, it’s part of what I love to do. It has been an absolute dream to develop this beautiful addition to our community.
I started my photography journey in college over 22 years ago (oof, how?!) on a film SLR. When I was gifted my first digital camera, I started photographing my friends, family, and anyone who requested sessions with me. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft, upgraded my gear, and turn beautiful images and memories into fine art.

Julie Schroeder – Hair and Makeup Artist & Business Partner
Julie Schroeder is our go-to hair and makeup artist and trusted business partner at a13 Creative. A licensed cosmetologist with 13 years of experience, she grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and became a proud Michigander five years ago.
Julie started doing hair and makeup for weddings right out of cosmetology school and quickly fell in love with the emotional side—the hugs, happy tears, and heartfelt thank-yous that make every day special. She brings that same passion to our Northern Michigan weddings, boudoir sessions, and events, ensuring every client looks and feels their absolute best.
Jaime Soulliere.
Associate Photographer
Jaime Soulliere is our talented associate photographer, bringing her keen eye for detail and love of nature to every shoot. She’s been partnering with a13 Creative for the last six years, making her the perfect teammate for capturing stunning weddings, events, and portraits in Northern Michigan.
When she’s not shooting with us, Jaime enjoys solo photography inspired by the region’s landscapes. She’s also a mom of two teenagers, a wife, and works full-time in healthcare purchasing—balancing creativity with real-life expertise that shines through in her work.
Together with Anora and Julie, Jaime helps create those relaxed, authentic experiences clients rave about.
